Screwing around on Twitter and avoiding work.

I'm here. Just put away the crate the dog we lost Wednesday slept in. He was too old and disoriented to be loose at night.

Wednesday, he panicked trying to get up and my wife thought he was having a seizure. Vet said no, but did have neurological problems, which we kind of knew about - he'd walk in circles, always to the left, and get stuck in places that he never went before.

Had trouble standing up on Wednesday, very disoriented, and he was 18 - 94 in dog years. It was time.

I'm sorry about your dog. It's always hard to lose a member of the family.

Twitter takes too much effort sometimes.  Had breakfast, took a walk, took a shower, now doing fun reading/writing until it's time for another episode of Cooking with Rose.

I saw about the dog -- very sorry.

I had a dream recently that I had died, and the first to great me on the other side were my two German shepherds I had when I was a kid.

Thanks. It is hard, but we knew it was coming. When we had to be out, both of us were afraid sometime we'd find him dead or extremely uncomfortable.

And we still have 3. One of them is 15 and has a heart condition, but the other two are young and healthy.

Sounds like a perfectly delightful day. What's on the menu?

I can still turn Youngest Boy (Lucius Curtius Rufus) upside down and bang his head on the ground.  Good to know my traditional way of child-rearing is still and option.

Until the Department of Children (and taking them away from) Families finds out (or whatever it is called in your state)

Isn't it interesting that we seem to have more violence even though "experts" say discipline didn't help?

Actually, they enjoy it -- they used to beg me to turn them upside down.
