Up here, public school started around August 15 (I'm not positive what day it was, exactly). Way too early for my taste, but I'm sure the mothers were all celebrating.

They just sent me a revised value on my truck and increased the compensation by $3000.

Right where I wanted it.

I also know it's partially BS.

I sent my letter into them detail how badly the messed up the first evaluation late on Wed. The said they would have a second company to another evaluation. They did not include the actual evaluation in the email, just the revised value.

Either the new company did a impressively fast evaluation in only 2 days, or they realized I had them by the short ones and just up the value to close the claim.
