Well, can't always think clearly in the morning. The worst part about this "scandal"? It was broken by American media (Times). Which is rather interesting considering the huge payouts to Canadian media by his government. Makes them look like they are more the paid shills that everyone knows they are. 

Now of course since the story has broken, they have quickly and easily dug up more instances of his hypocrisy.

I hope it will have some consequences on the campaign, but his true believers won't be deterred. My riding might swing from Liberal to NDP, but it won't go Conservative. I am very interested to watch the races in Toronto suburbs & the outer 'burbs. The federal incumbents are all Liberals, but Ford won some of those provincially. Vaughan is polling a tie between Liberal & Conservative. If the Conservatives pick up a few seats in Etobicoke, Mississauga or Scarborough, it will be the end of the Liberals.
