Wait!  No St. Paddy's Day theme?  We're all supposed to wear orange today, right?

So Orange is the new Green?

Yes, I know it has to do with Protestants (and England supporters) vs Catholics

Dog is a lot better today. Eating again (special food and we can only give him a little at first), and wagging his tail again.

We write to insist that those of you who are not of Irish descent immediately cease and desist from culturally-appropriating Saint Patrick's Day.

Very truly yours,

Glad to hear he's feeling better.  Hopefully, he was just trying to tell you he was sick and tired of the old food and wanted some "special" (and more expensive) food for a change.  If only they could talk.  I'm sure that would not be good in my case though, I have a cat.  She'd never shut up!

That was before we learned of the horrors of CULTURAL APPROPRIATION.

Thank goodness the Left is here to constantly teach us more hatred, fear, and resentment.

Russia recalls its U.S. ambassador for consultations after Biden comment on Putin

Russia is tired of being the shiny squirrel of US Politics.

Election irregularities in (D) controlled counties... OH LOOK RUSSIA!

I don't recall them being similarly upset when the same thing was said after the 2016 election. Or am I misremembering? I know that story was flogged for 3 years and never truly went anywhere logical.

POTUS denied a Russia connection.

Also remember the Geo-Political angle.

Russia and the faternalist socialist brothers the ChiComs are not not very brotherly. Biden is in bed with the ChiComs, and I'll bet KGB has some juicy stuff on Biden Family's relationships.

Now POTUS is blaming and threatening Russia and giving the ChiComs a pass.

That would have Russia seriously worried.

According to the New York Times, the tax deadline has been pushed back to May 15th.  This, I don't understand.  Why do people need an extra month to file their taxes.  It's not like they didn't know the due date in advance and couldn't prepare for it.  I guess I just answered my own question, didn't I?

I have a simpler answer, I think:

We simply do not hold people accountable for their own actions. Therefore no standards are applied. Pretty soon, I bet any such deadline will be called sexist, bigot, homophobe, you name it.

New York Times Admits Never Any Science Behind the "Six Feet of Social Distancing" "Rule,"

Follow the science, even if it over 100 years old and wrong.

It turns out the research that formed the basis of that law came from a German hygenicist called Carl Flugge. It was Flugge who decided that six-foot separations were necessary to slow the spread of pathogens. The CDC went with Flugge's judgment. What the CDC didn't tell us was that Karl Flugge had been dead for nearly 100 years. His research on social distancing was published in the 19th century, before most Americans had electricity or indoor plumbing. So why is that research still guiding public health policy in this country in 2021?

That happens far too often, but there are still almost four weeks left in the current tax filing calendar.

I just received a Prescription Drug Savings Card from Good Rx in the mail today.  It is complete with a Bin, PGN and Group number for a membership ID number they have given me, under my real name and address.  The problem is, I never applied for this; I've never even looked it up online.  Do they just send these out to everybody or am I being targeted?  My debit card was hacked last week, maybe I'm on a list somewhere now.

Today was the deadline to get the info to our accountant to get the taxes filed by the regular due date. They need some time to put everything together.

We had ours sent there a while ago, and they should be done next week.

Most insurance plans work with pharmacy management companies. Yours might have given them the info. Check with your plan.

I've received stuff from CVS because our plan uses CVS Caremark. And I've received letters from companies they work with.

I applied for and received a Good Rx card. A few months later I got another one in the mail like you. I think it's just marketing.

I've been very happy with Good Rx, BTW. My insurance charges full price for prescriptions and has a very high deductible. I take a lot of meds and I'm saving hundreds of dollars every month.
