BBC World this morning had talking head Razia Iqbal interviewing one of Trump's lawyers (didn't catch the name) regarding today's circus in Manhattan. At one point the lawyer pointed out - factually - that Alvin Bragg had campaigned in his bid for DA on "I'm going to get Trump". Iqbal immediately and vociferously leaped on this - without actually being able to dispute it - by uttering Ignoratio Elenchi Fallacies like, "but he as elected by the people of New York!". Uh, yeah... after campaigning on a platform of "I'm gonna get this guy I don't like". That's.... the problem. Iqbal then, in her oh-so-journalistically-impartial way, characterized Bragg as a "careful prosecutor". Oooohhh yeaaaah.

Between the Bragg and the Jury Foreman this case should be a slam dunk to dimiss. But I sure Bragg and picked a judge and already gamed out the case.

Reply to vxbush in 6: I don't see an effect on the Ukraine conflict. Finland was part of Russia for 100 years. Putin styles himself Peter the Great. The blow is to Putin's plans. As long as Putin is choking o Ukraine he won't move on Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
