It’s going to be seen by many people as the court essentially interfering in some sense in the election, & so this is all sort of playing out here in terms of how we assess the Supreme Court & its legacy."

Oh, they were ALL FOR the Supreme Court playing a part when it was Gore vs. Bush. And how approval levels by the public have anything to do with the quality of the decision coming from the court can only exist in this guy's deluded mind.

The left takes literally the world Supreme and forgets it is a co-equal branch. We they like a decision it is holy writ from on high. When the decision goes their way, it voodoo messing with the court.

This sems to be true of everything. A recent example is the "Judge not lest ye be judged" section of Matthew. It used to be the liberals would cow to the moon that it meant you don't judge people, full stop. Now, they are saying that it doesn't meant that at all and now it means you need to judge. This change has happened over just a few years. It's rather amazing to watch.

Motorist accused of killing WSP trooper on I-5 is Mexican citizen 'unlawfully' in US

Earlier reports say the accused was under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

WSP Trooper Christopher Gadd, 27, was killed while in the line of duty shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday. He was on patrol on the 13600 block of southbound I-5, parked in the grass on the right-side shoulder of the freeway when the collision happened, officials said. A witness driving a semi-truck said Gadd's vehicle was "fully marked" with the lights off, the document said, when a speeding black SUV "swerved and struck the rear end" of the patrol vehicle.

Trooper Gadd is survived by his wife an 5 year old daughter.
