I didn't watch the state of the union--I had better things to do, like dishes and taking care of my family--but Stacey Lennox put together a fact-checking summary that seems like a decent summary. Per Stephen Kruiser, given his experience seeing people doped up on stimulants, there is no doubt in his mind that the president was wired last night.

170 Dems Vote Against Bill to Detain Criminal Illegals

The good news is that at least some of the Democrats voted for the bill.

Tucker Carlson had Alex Jones on his show as a response to the SOTU. I'm just curious enough to want to watch.

But sure, Biden got enough votes to beat Trump.

I, too, skipped the SOTU (very much on purpose), but from what I'm reading, a good summary could be:

"We were somewhere outside Capitol Hill, on the edge of the swamp, when the drugs began to kick in."

Tucker is working hard to destroy his own credibility.

Why?

But the “journolist” memo has gone out: The word for the day is “fiery”.

I can only assume that he honestly believes some of the stuff he's talking about. Otherwise, I can't imagine why he would destroy his reputation this way--unless, and this would be the only thing that makes sense, he's being paid to do so a la Drudge.

Joe Biden is the kindest, warmest, bravest, most fiery individual I’ve ever known in my entire life.

Because he is an angry man and has been for a long time. It's the truth, as opposed to the "kindest warmest bravest" nonsense.

So you think I was seriously suggesting that Joe Biden is kind, warm, and brave?

Hint: it’s a movie reference.

Well, I know you weren't writing that seriously. But I don't get the movie reference, sorry.

Ah, okay. I didn't realize that line was in that movie. That's not one that I can seem to convince myself to watch, even though I know I should.
