I point this out because who handles both of these tasks is critical, no matter where elections are held.

I am thoroughly convinced the polls here in the US are completely skewed until a week or two before the election, when the polls ALWAYS end getting closer and closer and suddenly you can't tell who is going to win. So the entire polling process is a farce, intended to sway public sentiment. I honestly don't trust them. 

The vote counting is extremely serious. The article didn't say what kind of voting was done--electronic, paper--but if Diebold is being used, I assume that, too, is fraudulent based on all the security videos created on these machines showing how easy they are to hack--but these are only shown during a down time, and not during an election. In the case of this article, nothing is mentioned about how votes are tallied and tracked at all. 

The article seems to be written from the stand point of "smoke and mirrors" to distract you from any actual facts on the ground. Lots of talking to people without critically assessing the voting itself.

That's fine if you just want to know claims are being made. I wanted a bit more information and that article couldn't provide it. I found it dissatisfying, as I've said. But then the MSM has gotten even worse than it was during the 2004 election. And remember how that went.....

Britain set to impose arms export embargo on Israel

The US should tell "Great" Britian that if they do so, all arms sales to the US by British companies are canceled, and said companies will be charged for all delays, including costs to set up tooling in the US, plus they must give the US free rights to all intellectual property or pay to re-develop and re-certify any systems that need to be re-developed.

And all US properties of said companies must be transferred to US entities immediately. Or Israeli companies.

Plus all applicable fines for boycotting Israel.

China is helping out in Palestine:

I was listening to NPR this morning.  There were a great many Democrats (I forget whom) who were phoompheting about the importance of enacting "online safeguards to protect children" from various websites friendly to, or enabling, predatory sexual prowlers.  

Sounds terribly concerned and upright, doesn't it?  And then you remember that these same Democrats and/or their political allies are the same ones trying to stop the passage of state laws which mandate that parents be informed if their child is "considering transition" to a different "gender."  

The dual-prong theater---pretending to try and "protect" children online while undermining actual parenting in real time, up close and personal---reminds me of the Left's hypocrisy in "condemning antisemitism" (with, of course, an unnecessary side-nod to "Islamophobia"), while permitting the Jew-hating demonstrators both in public and in institutes of higher learning to skate without consequence for their actions.

There you have it; virtue-signaling without substance to cover for permission and enabling of pernicious behavior.  The "right" hand knows perfectly well what the Leftist hand is doing.
