In yesterday's #10 Occasional Reader said: Allegation: US gave Iran names of Mossad agents in Iran https://www.jpost.com/middle-east/iran-news/article-814793 Now, the allegation is by… Iran.  So…

Interesting how the article starts:

The US National Security Council denied reports on Wednesday that a high-ranking American security delegation, mediated by Oman, secretly traveled to Tehran to share information in an effort to appease Iran.

The report first originated from a Fox News article, which has since been taken down, citing a report in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Jarida, which allegedly spoke to an unnamed source in Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

So.....we're playing a game of telephone. Good to know.

And PJ Media seems to be completely accepting of this story as is. But the story is by Robert Spencer, who seems to be more responsible when reporting about Islamic issues. I don't expect to see his work being so flimsy.

So...what is the purpose of Fox News first reporting this and then taking it down? Did Fox suddenly realize how flimsy the basis of the story was? The PJMedia article notes when quoting Fox, "Fakhravar notes, however, that “Secretary of State Antony Blinken admitted that to deescalate the conflict, the Biden administration had ‘engaged in intense diplomacy with allies and partners, communicating that message directly to Iran,’ which largely confirms the Kuwaiti newspaper's report.” That paragraph is apparently quoting the same Fox article which is now gone.

What a mess. As Fox has taken the article down, my only conclusion is that someone contacted them to point out errors or inaccuracies in their report. But rather than add a note at the top giving any kind of confirmation of this, they simply got rid of the page?

We used to have Americans in regions across the world who would be there on site to listen to their sources and provide clear information. Now, we just have reports from reports from reports and no one on the ground.

I have a feeling this report is going to go around the world several times before the truth ever gets out, if it even can anymore.

So this story is equal parts weird and annoying: Disney claims widower cannot sue them for wrongful death because he subscribed to Disney+

The one-line summary is "Disney is trying to get the lawsuit dismissed because Piccolo signed up for a one-month trial of the company's streaming service in 2019, which requires users to settle disputes with the company out of court, through arbitration."

Smacking my gob is not making this story sound any more sensible.

Q: Did anyone here listen to the Musk-Trump interview and is it worth listening to?

I wouldn't put it past Obama / Biden. Plus there has always been a cabal of anti-semites in the intel services.

Given the leftist meltdown it must have been pretty good. UK is threatening arrest warrants over it.

American Society of Plastic Surgeons breaks consensus of medical establishment on transgender care

The organization's move, which represents 92% of all board-certified plastic surgeons in the U.S., comes amid shifting international sentiment that psychotherapy might be a better course of action in treating transgender-identifying minors over hormones and surgery.

More sanity breaking out.

'So abhorrent': Federal judge rules against UCLA in lawsuit over 'Jew Exclusion Zone'

On Tuesday, a federal district court in California sided with the Jewish students, saying, "In the year 2024, in the United States of America, in the State of California, in the City of Los Angeles, Jewish students were excluded from portions of the UCLA campus because they refused to denounce their faith. This fact is so unimaginable and so abhorrent to our constitutional guarantee of religious freedom that it bears repeating, Jewish students were excluded from portions of the UCLA campus because they refused to denounce their faith."
