And by teaming up with a rogue Kennedy to fight the Democratic Party on the issues of speech, censorship, and war, Trump can frame the election not as a conventional battle between the Democrats and Republicans, but as the machine vs. the outsiders. Or, as the writer Richard Fernandez put it on X: the “Empire vs the Rebel Alliance.”

Does this mean Trump gets a cool orange lighstsaber?

Kamala Harris is so ready to become president that she has to have a babysitter at her first interview

Is this the classic "positioning her for success" move or what?

Megyn Kelly calls Walz her "emotional support governor." HA!

There is a video going around X and Threads seeming to show Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson issuing a threat that if election officials don't certify the elections, she will come after them.

The video is super short--15 seconds--and it is definitely spliced in places. I'm not finding any video of her wearing the purple jacket that she's wearing in this video. It seems very odd, and I'm thinking it's fake.

The MSM climbing on board Kamala Harris's gaslighting attempt to run as a plucky outsider challenging the status quo continues to yield darkly hilarious results.

No one has fought harder against the corrupt, incompetent Biden-Harris regime than Kamala Harris.  Or something.

She's fought so hard that the evidence is...missing, somehow.

The whole thing is so bizarre.  The rhetoric coming from her campaign is that of an outsider campaigning against an incumbent... and the MSM goes along with it.

As someone at Insty commented, "we are now at the "four legs GOOD, two legs BETTER!" part of Animal Farm

You would think that reminding people that she IS part of the Biden-Harris administration and that if she wanted to institute changes should could have done it already would be a useful tactic to get people to think beyond this attempt to run as an outsider. I don't know if it's working or not, though.

Was listening to NPR the other day, and they actually had someone on who was not merely talking about "climate change"---no surprise there---but who was using the long-discredited "hockey stick" graph made famous by the suit between Michael Mann, its proponent, and Mark Steyn.

They had something else equally idiotic on the same broadcast, but I can't remember now whether it was pushing the administration's "crime down, borders secure" line something equally risible.

They've gone beyond mere propaganda and taken the Thelma and Louise leap into outright lunacy.

For what it's worth....

I had dinner last week at the home of two longtime friends, both are also longtime Democrats; the woman (whom I've known longer, I know the husband only through her) is a former White House correspondent, and was a big fan of Bubba Clinton.

Both readily agreed that NPR was now just too embarrassingly partisan for (even) them to listen to.
