I cannot tell you folks how livid I am at Schiff for getting phone records on Nunes, Solomon, and Giuliani. By what right does he get to find out the phone records on anyone?

Transgender Who Sued Over ‘Bikini Wax Access’ Now Targeting Gynecologists

According to Yaniv, transgender “rights” not only include female salon workers being forced to wax male genitals, even when they don’t offer     the  service, but also gynecologists being forced to take on transgender patients who do not have female reproductive organs.

On Monday night, the activist ranted via Twitter about allegedly being discriminated against and turned away from a gynecology office     because  Yaniv is transgender.

Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) is defined by the American Psychiatric Association as a personality disorder characterized by a pattern of excessive attention-seeking emotions, usually beginning in early adulthood, including inappropriately seductive behavior and an excessive need for approval.

Re-post from the other morning:

Clementine (updated)

Since the trend is towards “transgender”

And has been so for some time

A young minor sans vagina

Declared he was “Clementine”

You must call me, you must call me

You must call me “Clementine”—

Though my given name is Clement

You must call me “Clementine.”

He said he was “non-binary”

Hewing to the party line

And he’d frown at the wrong pronoun

Because he was “Clementine”

You must call me, you must call me

You must call me “Clementine”—

Though my given name is Clement

You must call me “Clementine.”

With hormone blockers and fake knockers,

Litigation for a time,

The court system did assist him

In becoming “Clementine”

You must call me, you must call me

You must call me “Clementine”—

Though my given name is Clement

You must call me “Clementine.”

But alas for our heroine!

Eventually he did find

Drugs and trimmin’ don’t make women

Deep down, he was masculine

Oh my darling, oh my darling,

Oh my darling “Clementine”—

What’s cut off is gone forever

Dreadful sorry, Clementine.

Somehow I have ended up coaching my son's hockey team this season. It's just a house league team, so there's no pressure to win and my duties are mostly opening the gate & counting to 5. We lost our first game 10-4 and we won our 2nd game last night, 7-5. Needless to say, goaltending isn't great, but that's house league.

In the game last night, there was a 14 yr old boy on the other team who is 6' 5" tall! And he's beefy, not a string been. I asked his dad what's going on, and just shook his head, "He won't stop growing!" My son got flattened to the ice by the big kid, which earned a penalty. Still, we beat them, so size isn't everything.

In other news, high school teachers are on strike today in a one day job action. So all the kids are off school. My son has gone skating with some of his buddies.

Charlie Martin (Instapundit contributor) tweeted in response to Yaniv's complaint about this something like:

"Two problems here: 1) You have a dick. 2) You are a dick."

IANAL, of course, but I didn't see a clear answer as to what law provides justification for Schiff to request phone call logs for US citizens. Can you clarify that point?

Of course, now it seems like the only the Dems seem capable of doing is moving the goalposts on impeachment.

Fair enough. I've been looking for something to explain how Schiff has this kind of power to request such call logs, and I'm not seeing anything helpful for a lay person like me.

There used to be a patch of land next to my mom's house that would always flood in the Fall after the first snowmelt and then freeze, so we had our own little skating rink in the yard.  All the neighborhood used it.  In those days everyone had snowmobiles -- there were all kinds of trails through woods and fields.  We had two (my dad sold them), one "family" model and one sporty one.  My dad had a map in his shop that showed how one could, in theory, snowmobile from our house to Canada.  Fun times.

Eventually new construction displaced the skating area and the trails dried up.  I gave up my last sled (which was a sweet ride) when I moved to Georgia.

The hockey league my son plays at uses an outdoor rink. Last night the snow was falling and under the flood lights it looked like a rink sized snow globe. Prettiest thing ever! If the snow on the ice gets too deep & the players can't see the puck, they swap the puck for an orange ball.

US Slaps New Sanctions on Six Venezuelan Oil Tankers

Cuba and Venezuela “continue trying to circumvent sanctions by changing the names of vessels and facilitating the movement of oil from Venezuela to Cuba,” said Treasury Deputy Secretary Justin Muzinich.

“While the Venezuelan people continue to take to the streets to demand basic services and a return to freedom and prosperity, Maduro chooses to ship a vital natural resource to Cuba in exchange for Cuban security and intelligence services,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said.

That's great.  My nephew played hockey for a while -- eventually gave it up for swimming.

I remember hiking over to field with a low spot that froze to play hockey with my friends.  We used one of my friend's older brother's catchers gear for the goalie.  The biggest fight was over who had to carry shovels so we could clear the ice.  Very primitive but fun.

"Rosebud" was, supposedly, a private nickname William Randolph Hearst had for his wife Marion Davies' ladyparts.  Kane, of course, was a roman a clef of Hearst---and Wells' use of that private nickname was one of the reasons that Hearst and his minions, like Louella Parsons, did their best to ruin Wells.

BTW, OR---would the young 'un be interested in/would you be willing to let him have a small wooden Japanese sword?  It's something I had as a kid that I took from Mom's house before we sold it.

The whole thing is just under 18" from hilt to scabbard tip, "blade" (also wood) is about 10" long.  It's a nice piece, I have no real use for it, and I'd love it to go to a good home.

Our backyard flooded at least twice a year. I have pictures of my brother in an inflatable boat paddling around the swing set. It didn't always freeze hard enough for skating, but it was great when it did. A neighbor kid once fell and broke his arm; he was fine, but if it happened today the family would probably sue us into homelessness.
