Good morning. Sign o’ the times; I notice that the 10-pack of 3M N95 masks I bought on Amazon for $37 about two weeks ago, now goes for. $247 (minimum).  On the other hand, they’re available, which was not the case at all a couple of days ago.

The way NPR lies/contradicts itself openly and routinely is weirdly fascinating.   Within something like 20 minutes this morning it simultaneously claimed that Obamacare had "brought healthcare coverage to 50 million people," or something like that, and that 50 million people were currently devoid of healthcare coverage.

Also under Obama, the chocolate ration was increased from 30 grammes up to 20 grammes.

Bloomberg is out. Now we have 3 weeks of Biden vs. Bernie ads until the Georgia primary.

Senility or Socialism.  Quite a choice.

I almost want to re-join the Democratic Party, just so I can have the pleasure of quitting it again.

Looks like they're going for senility. The question is, who will be the VP nominee?

Come for the senility, stay for the riots (by the angry socialists)!

I'm still betting that once Biden puts paid to Bernie, he will step aside at the convention for "health reasons" in favor of the dark-horse Party Unity Candidate.

My money's still on the charming and accomplished former First Lady of Color.  She can run for First First Lady Ladyparts President as easily as Hillary Clinton could, with added blackness.  She checks a whole bunch of "intersectionality" boxes, and as Preserver/Restorer of the Obama Legacy she could run against Trump better than any of the other contenders.

Some say, "Why would she give up a life of unscrutinized luxury to become president?"  To which I say, she, like her husband, would do little of the actual work; she would be able to enjoy plenty of travel/vacations on the public dime, and she would have the opportunity for her very own hog wallow through the Treasury instead of relying on her husband's.

Plus, even if she ran and lost, she'd still be sticking it to the Clintons.  If she ran and (shudder) actually won, she'd be sticking it to the Clintons big time.

And, again, I doubt it.  Leaving aside the "she'd have to do work!" argument; she'd be a disaster as a candidate, and the DNC bigwigs know it.  Plus, it seems the bloom is off the rose in terms of the Obama brand name.  (Saw a link earlier at Instapundit on that, I could find it if you like.)

Oh, I saw a Matt Margolis article to that effect on PJM---which is probably what Instapundit linked to.

Forgive me for speaking bluntly, but I am skeptical; Obamaboy Perez is running the DNC, Obama himself has been...closemouthed...when it comes to endorsing Sloppy Joe.  He's saving himself for the right moment to utter.

The Democrats hate Trump with a passion, but they are also riven by their internal power struggle between the Clintonians and the Obamanoids.   I may be wrong, of course, but I believe that the Obamanoids are looking less to win this election---not that they'd turn it down---than to deliver the coup de grace to the Clintonians.

One way or another, we will see.

More likely what we're going to get is a shit show of a convention with the Bernie Bros refusing to accept the nomination.  They're already calling shenanigans.

Meanwhile, I saw that there is a Burisima investigation going on at Justice.

And that’s why I’m stocking up not only on coronavirus related supplies, but also on popcorn.

That's not going to happen. Nor do I believe Hillary will swoop in at the last minute. The DNC will push for an identitarian candidate, but one who doesn't have the baggage of Michelle or Hillary and is a plausible president. I don't know of anyone who can fill both requirements.
