Meantime, it would be amusing to put the yellow "social distancing" sign, with two foot imprints on it, that they're using on the NYC subway platforms, on the chest of a T-shirt.

I've been saying that for some time.  Nobody wants to see a massacre---and, indeed, a massacre will be used (initially, at least) as a recruiting tool by the organizers of this national insurrection---but just as burning out the OWS encampments would have meant no antifa, just as the atomic bombs (actually, the second bomb) obviated the need for invading Japan, a couple of full-force responses in different cities would cause the rest of the rabble to suddenly discover business elsewhere.  

100 years ago shooting down a couple of hundred demonstrators at a single demonstration would have raised eyebrows for a very brief time.  Shooting ten or twenty at, say, three different locations around the country would get a lot more outrage today, but it too would pass---and the resultant peace, however uneasy, would be preferable to what we have now.

I have to concur. OWS went away but simply morphed into BLM. We want to make sure that BLM doesn't morph into something else. This would also mean getting rid of the funding for BLM and sister groups, which would mean shutting down ActBlue and the way they fund the Democrat Party.

I fear the battle is lost.

We have two generations now who know nothing.  The basic elements of the western cultural heritage are not only utterly unknown to them, they have been taught that they are all irredeemably evil.  There is no virtue to be found in any of the cultural inheritance of the last 5,000 years.  And that has been accomplished in our lifetime!  It is remarkable, perhaps the greatest act of cultural suicide since man came down from the trees.

Not knowing anything about the heritage they despise, it is impossible to talk to them.  I discovered this more and more towards the end.  They cannot appreciate beauty, because everything has been subordinated in their minds to politics.  All things before this instant are evil; the only good is some abstraction that exists off in some distant and ill-defined future.  All that we need to get there is to destroy everything around us.  The apocalypse will bring redemption.  The past, on the other hand, can only corrupt.

With a very large part of the population having internalized that mindset, there is no hope of saving civilization.
