Good morning.

Per Little OR's mom, he greeted her this morning by asking, "what gasses are in farts?"

Scientific inquiry marches on.

In our world the combination of Mario Maker and the Swtich has been a creative boon.  They have more fun making up the games than they do playing them.

I have no idea what that is, and hopefully I have a few more years before I’m forced to find out.

And meanwhile in the Seattle “Autonomous zone“, black teenagers continue to be gunned down by heavily armed white people. Because Black Lives Matter, or something.

Morning Sedition featured an interview with the "Republican" Secretary of State of Washington, who is reassuring everyone that blanket mail-in voting is absolutely, positively secure from fraud or mismanagement, despite what Attorney General Barr may think.  Of course, she invokes "Russian interference" in the 2016 election, which tells you right there that she's about as solid and reliable as a Jello mold.

Force might be necessary to take back East Precinct from protesters, expert says

The Clowncil won't support that and Mayor Durka Durka isn't all that keen on the idea.

Protestors win.

How clueless is Durka Durka

Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant joined a large group of protesters outside the CHOP zone who marched to Durkan's house on Sunday afternoon.

The Mayor was not even home - she was working at City Hall.  Seattle can and should peacefully demonstrate but should not put families and children at risk."

Dead kids in the CHOP which you allow Mayor......

You misspelled "insurrectionists" (but you knew that).

The insurrection goes all the way to the Governor's Office.

How does one deal with that? When the mail in balloting is a fraud.

Of course, National Proggie Radio was flashing that she is Republican! Republican! Republican! all over the place.

I wonder how it feels to be the sheep's pelt disguising the wolf.

Legally, a deep investigation by the DOJ and federal indictments might work, but it would take years. If Biden wins, every state will look like Washington.

Personally, I might consider leaving the country. I would rather live in a country where there is no pretense of Constitutional rights than one where we pretend the Bill of Rights means something.

I got my second post-lockdown professional haircut yesterday; and yes, it's a nice feeling, indeed.   (Particularly in the case of the previous one, since the very nice Vietnamese lady who I sometimes go to also gives a good scalp and neck massage during the haircut.)

Say what you will about Paul Krugman, he was great as Karmann Ghia in the original film of "The Producers."

I love the term "bitcoin"; it subliminally recalls not only the "bits" from "pieces of eight" (which is where "two bits" comes from), but the practice in the past of biting coins to see if the coin was counterfeit.

That said, I trust "bitcoin" somewhat less than I'd trust a 3-card monte dealer.
