This just in - the Washington football team needs to change not only "Redskins" but "Washington", since he was a slave owner and a privileged white man.

It will now be the Wokeshington Kneeskins

I'm not sure if any of you read Townhall or if you're familiar with Mike S. Adams, but he was found dead in his home today. He was a professor of sociology and criminology at UNC Wilmington and successfully sued the university for his promotion to full professor, which had been denied because of his conservative writing. He was planning to retire on August 1st. Naturally the usual garbage humans are spewing filth about him all over Twitter.

So, would a Jewish football team be named the Foreskins?

I've read a few things by Adams back in the day, and he seemed reasonably sane and on point in the stuff he wrote.

I'm curious as to the alleged cause of death.

A mohel retired, and went to a leather worker. "I saved all the foreskins from my career. Can you do something with them for my retirement?"

"Sure. Come back in a week"

The mohel returned in a week and the leather worker handed him a wallet.

"A wallet? From 40 years of foreskins?"

"Yes, but if you rub this wallet, it turns into a briefcase"

So my larger computer has taken upon itself to not work right - amazingly, 40 days BEFORE support ran out.

So Dell has seen some problems, like their diagnostics showing a hardware error and then not showing a hardware error. Case is opened; they'll have to fix it. But at 4 years, the computer is getting long in the tooth (kind of fitting; I call it "Elephant")

I didn't know about Mr. Adams but just did a little reading about him.  So sorry he's not with us any longer.  I sure hope there was no foul play.

I haven't seen anything about cause of death. He had just won a $500K settlement from UNCW and was taking early retirement. That doesn't sound like someone who would commit suicide, but you don't know how the constant harassment and hatred may have affected him. And I have no idea what was happening in his personal life.

Wild thunderstorms here in DC this evening, which Little OR and I enjoyed thoroughly.   I'm so glad that I successfully taught him to love these storms, instead of being afraid of them (as many children are).

Bystanders are abettors, accessories after the fact. Arrest them if you can't get the perp.

BTW, we are in the "9 days" leading up to Tisha B'Av, the date on which both Temples were destroyed and various other disasters occurred (including the start of WWI)

Next Thursday, 7/30, is the date itself.

It is also supposed to be the day the Messiah arrives, may he be here speedily in the next week.

Especially with everything going on right now.

And with that, I say, good night. Such as it can be in times like these.

And so, to bed. Good night. May better days await us.
