At the time, I didn't keep kosher, so I tried it, knowing it was not "noodle". I found it fine. In those days, when I ate a lobstah, there was nothing left but shell and membranes.

I got along well with the guy. The two of us were the only people in the group that knew the build environment. We both got laid off the same day. A week or so later, my former boss asked if I'd come back as a consultant, as they were unable to get the software to build. I would have, but his request was rejected by the company. 

Their build environment used ClearCase, Visual Studio, Windows batch files, Perl scripts, etc. and was very complicated. One of the experts was hard to get to help, but he'd help me because he knew I'd come with a specific question, and he could give me a quick answer and I'd go off and fix the problem. But most places want someone young who can't figure out shit.

Good thing places working on national defense aren't like that.

Which reminds me, at 5 PM, the national anthem blares out on speakers that sound like they're from the 1950's. NO ONE takes a knee.

Anyone else think these protests and strikes by black athletes will bite them in their behinds when viewership drops off and the teams can't get the big pay for TV rights?

Everyone except the big fans are turning it off, because sports are an ESCAPE from politics. Bring politics into it, and many sports viewers would rather watch a romcom with their women than more BLM BS.
