Driving through a military base gate without permission is NOT a good idea.

I see what they have as protection (driving through them every workday)

The little yellow poles don't look like much- until you realize the are sunk into fittings that go deep and are solid steel.

Plus, there is always a truck with backup force nearby. And the guards are armed, with at least sidearms, but I have seen M-16's

Do not mess with military guards. They are nice when you have proper credentials, but deadly if you do not.

Messing with the military is stupid.
