It gets worse on the Kalifornia fire situation ... we haven’t even reached peak fire season yet!

And with that bit of depressing news out of the way ... Thirst! 🍺

Very fitting tune, we’ve got smoke on the Kalifornia waters for sure.

Yes it came and I’ve got it setup and working JCM. Thank you so much, it’s awesome! (I’m on the iPhone right now because I’m not home right now)

I left several posts here summarizing the process of setting it up and I had hoped you’d read them to find that I had it up and running but alas ..

nobody reads turns posts! /

My youngest boy was so impressed that someone who I’ve never met in person would give me such a fine gift. I can’t thank you enough and I owe you big time JCM!

That is about an actual event, when in a club in Montreux, Frank Zappa was playing when the place caught fire. Zappa regrets that he didn't come up with the idea of writing a song about it.

A 747 supertanker just flew overhead, awesome to see it in full use fighting fires here.

JCM helped him too.  In time, Pi Guy became Pi Grad.  And by now, much more than that (in my mind's eye).

Now that you mention that I do remember JCM helping him out with a computer, super nice guy that JCM is.

I've been watching Fall of Eagles again -- the BBC show from 1974 about Austria-Hungary, Imperial Germany, and Imperial Russia up to the end of WWI.  Tonight's episode featured Patrick Stewart as Lenin and Michael Kitchen (Foyle's War) as Trotsky.

He also portrayed the character of Sejanus, general and confidant of Tiberius in the 1970s PBS series I, Claudius.
