Had a bit of an adventure today. Wife's colleague's motor scooter (cue Quadrophenia music) broke down maybe 2-3 miles from his house.

He has a Toyota Yaris, we have 2 Honda Fit cars. Both small. Tried to get the scooter in the hatch of his Yaris; could not lift it well enough even if it would fit.

However, I saw a review of the Fit that called it a Cardis, after the Dr. Who Tardis.

Well not quite, Did have to leave the door ajar for the short trip (bungee cord to keep it as closed as possible) on all secondary roads.

Note the rear seats fold up.

(I did pass an unmarked cruiser but he did nothing)
