BTW, regarding my lengthy discourse this afternoon in the day thread: I'm as sick and tired as anyone of the constant gaygaygaygaygay drumbeat in the media, etc., but it still drives me crazy when people go on about "I remember when "gay" meant "happy," hur hur hur..." There's a history here, like it or not; to tell the truth, a lot of homosexuals, even those involved in the gay-rights movement, don't know a lot of this stuff.

So the government in Haiti claims that they’ve killed four “mercenaries” who participated in the attack on the presidential palace, and captured two others. They are giving out little information except that these men are supposedly professional mercenaries, who supposedly gained access by pretending to be from the DEA. This could get interesting.
