I'm sorry, but there is a certain strain of "conservatives" that I increasingly have less than no use for. I am tired of the "conservatives" who use their (alleged) support of Israel to cover for their blatant hatred of American Jews; I am tired of people who treat Any Suggestion That Trump Was/Is Not Perfect to be tantamount to treason; I am tired of fatassed slugs from "solid red states" who elect, re-elect, and re-re-re-elect people that they constantly decry as "RINOs" shooting off their mouths about those of us in less-than-solid-red-states who do not elect Solid Conservatives. There; I've said it.

While the RINO is not a good choice, the Dem is usually a worse choice. At least it sends the message that people won't knowingly vote for the democrat's platform. It's just the lesser of two evils sometimes.

This really surprised us but we have a young niece who has decided to join the U.S. Army. Her MOS will be 13B, infantry, Army Cannon Crewmember. She headed for basic training yesterday. I messaged her on Monday night and told her to get some good earplugs, ha ha. She'll be dealing with Howitzers and similar things. It she sticks with it, it will likely be good for her.

Reply to Alice in Dairyland in 9: Thanks, I will. I am proud of her too. She will probably do a facebook post to all of us sometime down the road. If it's anything like the Marine Corps she will not be able post or text anyone for a month or two.
