What a week. Finished an 8 day work stretch and I am exhausted. One vehicle is dying badly and we are searching for an affordable replacement. Checking one out tomorrow. Good news about that is that I have enough savings for a decent down payment. Also got my official veterans card from the government. Applied for a veteran discount card and there's an insurance company that we can probably go to for a better vehicle insurance rate as well. Tomorrow is a day off and too much to do to relax.

I don't know if I should tell you this or not, but I'm probably the only person in the entire world who's never seen a single Star Wars movie! I know who most of the characters are from hearing talk about it for the past 42 years. Yes, it's really been 42 years! Now I'll just be quiet here and go sit on the bench that says "Group W".

Reply to Alice in Dairyland in 6: I saw the first one when it came out, and then a few days later. Saw the next 3 crappy ones on DVD Haven't seen any more. Other movies I never saw: Jaws Godfather (all) Rocky (all)

No, I haven't been rehabilitated. I still create a nuisance once in a while. We listen to that album (yes, the old LP vinyl) every Thanksgiving. It's a weird holiday tradition, but it's our holiday tradition.

The "revisited" version has a mention that Nixon left a copy of Alice's Restaurant behind, and implies that was in the 18 1/2 minute gap.... I'll find a link another time
