Very nice!

This last week or so I've been more energetic (some would say manic) and ambitious about things around the house. I've been considering doing some container gardening on my patio. Unfortunately, neither the patio nor my postage stamp front yard gets full sun. I thought about getting a hydroponic herb garden for the kitchen, but I think my cats would tear it to shreds.

Security notice in the Frontier. I got strange email from someone addressing me as Kosh, and it contained only a link to probable malware. (I did not open it)

Note, if you wonder if an email attachment, file, or URL is malware, use

https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home

to have it scanned by something like 50 antivirus scanners. No guarantee of safety; I've had it scan things that only later turned out to be malware (but I never opened them).

Growing this plant is a reminder of our backyard "farm" we nurtured during the growing season.

Peas, sweet corn, lettuce and cabbage, watermelons and cantaloupe, wild asparagus, green beans, bell pepper to name a few and some odd things like popcorn and peanuts.

Oh, and catnip too.  Cats left it alone while it grew.  It's when the leaves are harvested and crushed that they have an interest.

She fits a certain narrative. There's no proof whatsoever that anyone in the state was deprived of the right to vote in 2018, but that's her story and she's sticking to it. Democrats need to believe that because they can't admit that their own failed policies are what keeps them out of office. She's unbelievably aggressive - she's basically threatened Biden that if she doesn't get to be his running mate, there will be unpleasant consequences. The WaPo profile is over the top, even by their standards - the parts Tucker read might have come directly out of one of Stacey's romance novels. She'll flame out pretty quickly, I think.

There has been discussion about masks.

Masks with vents are not properly protective. Where I work does not allow them, only masks without vents.

The problem is, if you have COVID, the vents make sure no one else is protected.
