Riots.

Target stores, AutoZones and Police precinct offices looted and on fire.

Police standing down and abandoning the cities.

Its the kind of thing that will result in Gun Control assholes starting to call for more gun control measures.

Despite the problems over busing back in the 1970's, and rioting after MLK was killed, Boston has been spared this.

We have community leaders with some stupid ideas ("We need better jobs than WalMart"), but the recent times police have had to kill blacks, it was pretty obvious they needed killing. One had already shot a police officer, who had approached him without holding a gun, in the head (officer survived and is back on the force), and was shooting at the other officers when he was killed, Another had a knife and was lunging at the police.

Maybe Boston has a  more professional police force. We've had commissioners move on to NYC and LA.

Our current police commissioner is black. He's a big guy, with a calm manner. Father left, mother took him and moved to Boston. Churchgoers.

He was the kid who told his friends not to do bad things, and both the liberal Globe and conservative Herald like him.

It is kind of weird  watching all of this from here.

i had to commute on foot and by bus through down town Seattle during the WTO riots 20 years ago. That was surreal. This stuff going on now is insane.

It looks like Antifa and BLM are the agent provocateurs in this.

ironically, we have a lot of surplus jail and prison space for these punks since the blue state governors let all of the prisoners out because of CV19.
