The problems of the Somalis in Minnesota were raised--at least, in terms of the numbers of people brought into the country--to one of the House representatives from that state a decade ago. He wasn't interested in listening. 

No one knew then about the amount of fraud going on in the community, but yet again the call to call the attendees at the meeting as uncaring was very strong.

I highly, highly recommend all y'all go read El Gato Malo's article on free speech in Europe and the pre-bunking going on now. Europe grows darker, while the only thing keeping Americans in the know seems to be the freedom of speech now allowed on X. The Texas Air National Guard fiasco makes a quick appearance. 

So much in this to unpack and comment on.
