Meanwhile, I'm watching Tucker's opening monologue and wondering why we can't just shoot these Antifa thugs in the street.

Because they're peacefully protesting! At least according to CNN (Counterfeit News Network) and See-BS, NoBullCrap, etc ,

Just to be clear, criticize Kamala Harris all you want.  I didn't like the "ho" reference as that is racist

But if you want to apply it to Beyonce, who dresses and acts like one,  fine.

Ha!! Trump's 'non-rally' speech today in Oshkosh, WI commented that all (hundreds) who showed up to hear him speak  are pardoned from violating crowd numbers.  Trump humorous jab a CNN, et al.

These protesters are as peaceful as the Palestinians.

They want their enemies to rest in peace ( Jews should be so lucky)

I just spent an hour listening to my nominally Republican daughter ranting about Orange Man Bad, our diminished standing in the world, blah blah blah. I swear I raised her better than this. I just refused to engage with her because she fails to understand the existential threat to our country posed by a party that's willing to burn cities to the ground to seize power. She might as well join the Lincoln Project. She actually talked about moving overseas if Trump wins. (She won't.) I refuse to let something this stupid affect our relationship, but I also refuse to listen to another two and a half months of bullshit.

It was brutal video.  Tucker said he wouldn't put on air even more brutal thuggery.  Too disturbing.

I wonder if more aired thuggery would hit the gut of men and the heart of women voters.

Just wondering.  'Cause it isn't in my neighborhood yet, but VERY WELL COULD BE, might awaken the indifferent voter or sway the sideliner into action to vote against it.

It may well come to that; and sooner than we think.

I'll speak for myself in this regard.  I thought liberally from the time I reached 'the age of awareness.'

My parents lived as conservatives, worked, saved, feed and raised three children, voted the Republican ticket every time.

Why was I for everything easy? Sounded great!  I can have everything!  Even though I knew something else might be different.

A seed (a seed, there were many that where planted and took root) was reading a story in a school book my mother gave me.  I was 8 or so.  An early reader she read when she was a young lass.

In that book was a story of The Little Red Hen.  Oh, I nodded all the way through it until end.

Who will eat this bread? "I will," I declared in my (duck, pig, cat) heart.

"Oh,  No you won't . . ."

A young liberal mind awakened a little at that moment.

Seeds have been planted dopps.  You did good.

She works for a Republican member of Congress. She genuinely thinks the GOP should be a minority party again. She might come around eventually, but it's not my problem. My son actually registered as a Democrat in 2016, and all three of my kids, plus my daughter-in-law, voted for Hillary. My DIL is the smartest one, though. She is not happy with my son's left turn and I suspect she'll vote for Trump and lie about it. She's an immigrant so she sees what's really going on.

In that case, she should leave her job. Would a horse trainer keep an employee who thinks the horse should never win? No, and thus, she should be fired.

My parents gave me records of JFK and FDR speeches. I did  learn from them.

JFK would be a conservative Republican in today's political climate.

"Ask not what your country can  do for you.  Ask what you can  do for your country"-  JFK

"Ask how much free stuff your country can give you" -- today's Democrats

He's retiring in 2022. I wish she'd get out of politics completely - it's too stressful and it tends to consume your life. She almost turned down a lovely trip with her new guy because she wanted to be on hand for an important press release. I'm sorry, that's insane.
