I guess JCM slept in. But so is everyone else on this long weekend for Indigenous Peoples' Day Columbus Day!

I had checked Friday night for Saturday and put up a thread, but JCM did, too, after that.

I moved mine to next week before anyone posted.

Sorry, wiped out I laid down about 6 PM last night and that was that.

Mrs. JCM has been taking care of her dad at his place. So I'm single dad'ing it.

Good morning all. I’ve been up, left a post at the bottom of the pub thread while I waited for the daily to get setup. Watching the “news”, same old same old biased coverage. The good news is Trump is back out campaigning despite the bitching from the media.

So for me this is kind of like a Saturday, not merely because tomorrow is a holiday but also because, well normally I would be picking up my son today, this week, at his moms request, I took care of him Friday and Saturday because she is running around doing things related to having bought a house. So an exchange, she’s keeping him until Monday. I have tons to do but I feel wiped out.

Hat's off to yah!

At least mine are teens and can do most things themselves.

No wonder you're tired. Let me know if you want me to take the morning threads back for a while

I just need to get the habit of doing it.

I have a note on my monitor now to help me.

I do them all at once on Sunday, usually.

Show published posts, then right click on Create New, open in new window - 7 times. Go to the last one, fill in the correct time. Copy and paste that in the next to last, until I get to the first. Change the date for the first, then each successive one until I get to the last. (This one has to start with the first thread, as it is too hard to keep track of the date in a different order.)

Fill in the titles last to first.

Then on the first, Create and put in the picture. When it is done, close it and move to the next one.

Then refresh the forum page to make sure all are there with correct times and dates.

Who says smoking is bad for you?

Just laid a buncha' ribs in my new smoker / BBQ. A few hours of smoking then finish them off with a higher temp.

Do you bake them? No, no, no, no. Do you broil them? No, no, no, no. You smoke them!

Daughter and I went to Michaels to get her some art supplies a while ago.  We were listening to Styx (which she likes) in the car and it occurred to me that when Grand Illusion came out I was the same age as she is now.

Coronavirus: WHO backflips on virus stance by condemning lockdowns

Among the other obvious downsides, the lockdowns will lead to a doubling of world poverty levels. As we’ve been saying here, lockdowns were the wrong move and now the WHO is confirming this (a little too late). Via Instypundit

What is really the pisser is that before COVID both WHO and CDC both recommended against lockdowns for viral epidemics.
