I guess everyone else slept late, too.

I slept somewhat late, with vicodin dreams.

Sorry to hear you were in that much pain you required Vicodin. Or was that a joke?  Hope it gets better soon.

I got up later than usual, made breakfast, put in a load of laundry.  No Vicodin, unfortunately.  But I did make mimosas.

My sinuses are telling me there is a change in the weather coming.

I was up early, it’s impossible to sleep in with two black Labradors eager to start your day. We’ve already been for a long walk along the American and now I have two soaking wet labs who are just as happy as can be.

By the way you described that fall you must be in pain! Good thing you’ve got the meds to help you cope with it and allow you to at least get some sleep, that’s important. Rest up and get better soon OR!

Too bad we don't all have the enthusiasm of a Labrador to start off each day. You are fortunate to have two in your life willing to share theirs with you. Dogs know what is truly important in life and what is not.

So true. My life would be nearly empty with out these two loyal companions, they are a big part of my life. The “puppy” Pappy (he’s about fifteen months) is sure a wild child! Jake, my older lab, is the calming influence between the two. My hope is that Pappy will eventually pick up his demeanor, however it’s been my experience with labs is that it’s not likely until until he turns two. They sure keep me active with the walks and all, and that is important for my health and well being. I’m a dog lover, always have been.
