Thank goodness it is a short week. I don't think I can take a full week at this point.

I would ask for prayers and good thoughts for my husband, please. He had a bunch of lab work done last week and is supposed to be scheduling an MRI today. An X-ray showed some serious degeneration in his spine, and his lab work shows his diabetes isn't under control and there may be some other problem as well.

I cannot express to you all how much he hates going to doctors, so getting him to do any of this is like pulling teeth blindfolded.

I'm sorry, VX. You're both in my prayers.

Thank you, because hitting him up beside the head with a 2X4 isn't going to win me any friends on the police force.

Mom asked me to fry her an egg this morning.  This is the first time I have ever seen her eat a fried egg.

One of the latest lefturd talking points is that people who are "anti-science" (however that may be defined) should be denied health care.

Given that Lefturds insist that healthcare is a "human right," by implication "anti-science" people aren't human somehow.

This type of thinking is growing by leaps and bounds--and it is growing more disturbing to me. The more the other side calls us inhuman, the more they will treat us as inhuman. The does not end well.

If you make her one on Friday, it can be a Freitag fried egg...

Reverting to their racist, eugenecist roots, of course.

I've also noticed a lot of people seem to believe only people who don't wear masks get the 'rona. It's superstitious, really.

The Atlantic published an article recently about how Downs syndrome may disappear due to prenatal testing and abortion. That's already the case in Iceland. How long before it's mandatory? Moloch reigns on the left.

The longer this thinking goes on, the more I am thinking someone is going to try and take my son away. That will not end well, either, and mostly because my fingernails can be very dangerous. (Yes, I know, I should have a gun, but as long as the son is in my house, that is a disaster waiting to happen.)

Socialized medicine - in Massachusetts, a government run COVID testing site has people waiting for hours, only at the end to say they are out of tests.

But they are still letting cars in to wait.

More likely they will deny him needed services and wait for the inevitable. I'm so sorry you have to worry about that sort of thing. I hope disability rights groups are paying attention and fight for the most vulnerable.

Saw something like that in a very bad Fred Allen movie, "It's In the Bag," which is a version of "The Twelve Chairs" but with only five chairs.

In any event, Allen and his wife go into a movie theatre to see a popular film, and are constantly told, "next aisle, no seats in this aisle" until they find themselves out the fire door and on the sidewalk---where one of the moviehouse employees is constantly telling people "C'mon in, folks---immediate seating."

Sounds like the old joke that was allegedly actually from the Soviet union. A woman walks into a Moscow store and demands of the man behind the counter, "isn't there any meat?!". The man behind the counter says, "no, this is the store that doesn't have any fish. The store that doesn't have any meat is across the street."

So John Kerry is coming back.  The worst of Obama's team, plus the worst of the micro-Maos of the intervening years are going to have full run of government.

I'm on the brink of shutting down all my social media and just giving up.  Nothing to do but await the apocalypse.
