And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today!

The left exults MLK, a holiday a memorial in D.C. yet in the same breath they utterly reject MLK's dream.

First they reject the American Dream, American is fatally infected with the sin of slavery. Nevermind slavery is the norm in human history, and today more are held in thrall of slavery than at the height of the American Slave experience. Nor do they care than thousands of children are held in sexual bondage in American cities, mostly those run by the very ones who condemn us for our history.

No the left which embraces their version of MLK rejects his embrace of the American Dream.

Nor do they wish to rise up live out the creed, all men are created equal. No they reject that also. Some are more equal than others, victims have more equality than victimizers, and more victim badges one can collect the more equal they become.

The American Dream to the left is revised to the American Nightmare.

The left rejects equality for a false equity of outcomes. Depending on your status in the leftist hierarchy different rules are applied seeking for each person to pursue their own happiness, but that happiness is defined and equitably distributed by a benevolent state to all.

The left rejects the Creator's role in making men equal instead the state would dictate equity upon  all.

It is the right where sons former slaves and slave owners sit at the table of brotherhood. The left magnifies the difference with cries for reparations. It is forbidden for a black son of slaves to join with white sons of slave owners, when he does he is not an authentic black, but a race traitor. There is brotherhood in the left.

To the left there is no brotherhood, only tribalism, pitting falsely denominated groups against one another to ensure the left rules the divided populace.

Justice, justice cries the left, but they have shown no intention of banishing injustice. No they would inflect new injustices under the name of social justices. Freedom? The eschews freedom, what the call freedom is not an intrinsic attribute of a person but largess granted by by them for what the deem good behavior.

Freedom and justice are bent to tools of the state to the left, no longer noble ideals to aspire to.

Skin color is the sine qua non of a person to the left, character is relegated to adherence of the leftist dogma. Color defines the individual in the leftist creed. However they may hold forth on the superiority of the minority it is lip service only, Black Lives matter, except for the sons and daughters in of color in Chicago slaughtered in the weekly carnage. 

Left has turned MLK's words on their head, men are judge by the color of their skin to the left, then grouped, categorized, and pigeoned holed. Any deviation for the plan makes a person a race traitor.

Nullification is still the cry of the left, nullify immigration law, nullify drug laws, all in the effort in increase the divides between people.

MLK's dream lives on. But in many respects due the efforts of the left it is farther away from us than on the day it was delivered.

They certainly don't really call for justice; to them, "justice" is letting some criminal free to commit more crimes, by thinking he is more of a victim of circumstances than his victims are.

My employer felt it necessary to send out an email concerning the inauguration and "potential social unrest." Fine, but here's the terrifying part. You see, you as an employee represent the company on social media at all times, whether at work or at home on your own time. The unveiled threat is that if you post anything they consider objectionable you are subject to their social media guidelines, i.e. you can be fired. This is certainly the written or unwritten policy at virtually every company these days, but it's despicable.

Woman who stole Pelosi's laptop tried to sell it to Russian intelligence

Federal authorities have obtained an arrest warrant for a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, woman they suspect may have stolen House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s laptop during the Jan. 6 Capitol siege with the intent of selling the device to Russia’s foreign intelligence services.

In an affidavit filed late Sunday evening, agents said they were contacted by the former romantic partner of Riley June Williams, 22, who recognized her in footage shot during the insurrectionist attack by the British network ITV.
Williams’ ex also reported having seen other video showing Williams pocketing the computer from Pelosi’s office and told investigators that Williams had said she intended to send it to a friend in Russia who would arrange the transfer to the SVR, the Russian equivalent of the CIA.

That deal fell through, Williams’ former partner told FBI agents according to the affidavit, and the laptop remains in her possession.

I don't think a typical Trump supporter would sell it to Russian intelligence. Something fishy here.

Also fishy is that they didn't want it. Why not? Does it already have their spyware on it and they don't want the trouble to have to put it on the replacement?

Of course, I suspect something that would suggest untrustworthiness for Government work would be investigated. And the definition of that is quite likely to change in the next few days to few months.

Somehow, two factor authentication got turned on for my Amazon account. Someone must have tried to get in and failed. Customer service says I turned it on, but I didn't, and my phone info is correct.

Changed the password, and I will just leave it this way. So I have to click on my phone to log in - so nobody else can!. (OK, maybe one of the dogs tried to order dog toys. She's smart, but not smart enough)
