You know, like cannibalistic human sacrifice cults -- those folks are pretty durn marginalized.

1) Appropriate today - Donnerstag

2) Now when someone gets "canceled", they can do more than give a groveling apology - they can offer themselves as a sacrifice to the Woke gods

How many times have I read that the elite see primitive man as an example to follow, and I never believed it? I do now.

I am seriously wondering if the person who developed this curriculum is an actual worshiper of the Aztec gods.

So what about the marginalized group of mathematicians? We're not appreciated. We need to re-introduce Pythagoras' worship of line and plane.

The only gods they worship are the Woke precepts I suspect.  This is part of the whole "Atzlan" nonsense -- somehow illegal immigrant kids will be "served" by reminding them of their barbaric past.

I disagree. Notice that they don't call this study barbarism. That's a viewpoint from the Judaea-Christian worldview, which has been expressly canceled by these folks. Therefore ancient belief systems are now completely acceptable as long as we eliminate any historical references to how these old belief systems allowed them to kill others.

They will say how those sacrificed went willingly under the knife, just as the students must learn to sacrifice themselves, not physically in death, but in their lives, to the Woke gods of Diversity and Inclusion. (But not diversity of thought, and whites are not included, except in the sacrifice part)

To me, this all proves yet again that modernism is an outgrowth of the Judaean-Christian worldview, because you have to believe there are standards of behavior.

Juan broke over the line with Jesus
Juan broke over the line
They both breezed through the port of entry
Juan broke over the line

Lookin' forward to sending cash back to Oaxaca
Money that was yours and mine
Both of 'em breezed through the port of entry
Juan broke over the line

How'd they select their coyote?
Did the money they paid him come with a guarantee?
It was a rough journey, no denying that
Cost a lot of pesos per head
Took a lot of starch out of me
Well, that's all over now---it's time to collect some bread!

Yes, now that Juan broke over the line with Jesus
Juan broke over the line
They both breezed through the port of entry
Juan broke over the line

Just had a conversation with a friend at a local university. Apparently the introductory math classes are too hard, so the university is planning on figuring out what other classes on campus in other departments can meet the same requirements. I pointed out that said university used to have a math placement exam to help students understand and evaluate which class would best meet their needs, but that was scrapped because too many students were doing so poorly on the placement test that they needed to take remedial classes that didn't count towards graduation requirements.

Rather than acknowledging that public schools are failing the students, this friend was adamant that the math department needed to change because students with certain melanin contents were failing these courses so that only 30% of students passed.

The stupid, it burns. Public school has officially become the art of failure, but then we've seen that here all too often in the stories we've shared.

DOC [Dept. Of Corrections] employee reports men are claiming to be women to transfer prisons

A half dozen men have been transferred to the Washington Correctional Center for Woman, according to an employee at the facility.

The employee tells KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson Show that the women’s facility in Pierce County has adopted the practice of allowing a transfer for any person who identifies as female. Those transfers are being housing in the general population with female cellmates, the employee says.

The concern among staff and inmates is a risk of sexual assault. The employee cites a recent incident in which an inmate from a male facility raped a female in the women’s prison upon arrival. The transferred inmate, according to the employee, is incarcerated for a sex offense and has “fully functional male genitalia, a history of violence and sexual depravity in the community, and has been found guilty of sexual assault against other inmates while housed in the men’s facilities.”

“He is a proven sexual predator, having committed multiple crimes against women, yet the State of Washington had no problem moving him into a women’s facility and housing him with the most vulnerable in our population (our mental health unit),” the employee wrote.

That's why we need free four-year college---so that high-school graduates can learn to read at an 8th-grade level.

Whereas the formula for my tribe is Euler's formula. /

At this point, I'd be worried to have any such student attending this institution to give me an analysis of why Wikipedia isn't a valid source for citations.

The human misery of the left.

Under the theory that it is a lifestyle choice they push mentally ill and drug addict to the street.

Under the theory of human rights they enable modern slavery of human sex trafficking.

Under the theory of justice they put men convict of rape in a women's prison because he claims to be a woman.

Under the theory of climate change children work id appalling conditions often as slaves to mine the materials for their Tesla.

Yeah, the left is for The People.

Why has Disney semi-cancelled "Dumbo?" Because of these two songs:
When I See an Elephant Fly
The vocal is done by the (white) performer Cliff Edwards (Ukelele Ike), who was also the voice of Jiminiy Cricket in "Pinocchio."

The other possibly-questionable song is the Roustabout Song, where the roustabouts putting up the circus tents are clearly "of color."

(Now, on the other hand, the film does jibe well with the Transgender Movement, in that an elephant identifies as a flying animal, and, voila, actually becomes a flying animal... so maybe it's doubleplusgood?!)

When I was a kid, we had that song on a 78 record, that came with a little mirrored, illustrated carrousel that you put in the spindle of the turntable, so that it showed a little dancing Suzy Snowlfake (with falling snow) while the record played.  i think there was another song on the other side that came with a similar device, but I don't recall what it was.

Daily life in Cuba

A friend who was interested in buying a pair of gloves went to one of these small stores. The saleswoman, who works her hours and gets paid for them, told her that they have been waiting for new prices to come since January. She said they can’t sell anything until these prices come in. In the meantime, she sits behind the counter and works her hours every day.

Coming soon to this country. Starting with the burned-down cities where stores won't be able to afford to rebuild, or will be told that it is discrimination to charge higher prices in  those cities, even if insurance is much more expensive.

Then the government will take over the stores.
