Note: Talking like Shakespeare is not required to post on this blog today.

Or are you all just asking "To post, or not to post, that is the question"

I am suitably prepared. I have a shortcut on my Apple Watch that generates Shakespearean insults.

I believe that is a good one for members of the MSM

Good morning.  Reposting from last night:

Hey, isn’t it weird that they’re taking all the plywood down following a guilty-guilty-guilty verdict?

Aren’t they worried about *right wing* rioting?

(Rhetorical questions.)

Caitlyn Jenner has declared running for Governor or California

Does that mean California will have high-speed trans?

I think it is seriously tempting fate, but only because once upon a time we understood some of the psychological issues such people have. I seriously doubt those issues won't creep into some of the decisions s/he will make.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan critical of homelessness response after encampment shooting

SEATTLE — Hours after a man and woman were shot and wounded Thursday at a West Seattle homeless encampment, Seattle Mayor Jenny     Durkan said it was too early to form any conclusions about the attack, adding that the city must work to limit the number of illegal firearms that     are used to commit crimes.

The first link in the chain of causation in this shooting.... is you Mayor Durka Durka.

Yeah, because that's how things are done nowadays.////  Somebody let that cop in Ohio know they're going to really look into his case before they convict him of murder.

If "Caitlyn" does run, and win, I do hope he steps up to the podium on Election Night and declares, "I spent a good part of life preparing for this election; and I ate a lot of Wheaties..."

Look on the bright side; the California state budget is terribly engorged, and Jenner knows all about making cuts---even in sensitive areas.

There is actually a story about a bearskin that was used as a costume in many plays during Shakespeare's era.  One reason why that particular stage direction shows up so often was that the theaters were near the bear-baiting pits, so there was always a supply of bearskins for costumes.

I gave my lecture today and it was well received -- always can tell by the volume of questions, though it was sort of difficult not being able to hear the laughs.  Actually, through the whole symposium today I only heard one dumb-woke questions.  Another one came up but the moderator ignored it.

The administrator from UCLA who opened things did have to throw in every woke buzzword in her opening remarks, including a long thing about how they are sitting on the land that belonged to (long list of, I guess, Indian tribes).  Other than that, though, the thing was remarkably solid.
