Good morning, campers. Comment in the Frontier. Nothing serious, just something I found interesting.

My day us off to a great start. I got a message from some HR functionary wanting to do a video chat so she can see my vaccine card. I asked if there is a company policy regarding vaccination.

The better tack, I think, is to state that HIPAA prevents her from seeing this information.

I still want to know if there's a policy. If there is, it hasn't been pushed out company-wide. It's also possible I missed it because I'm new.

The thing is, I am fully vaccinated and I don't mind telling people. I just don't like being told I have to do something that's irrelevant to my job. Washing my hands and staying home when I'm sick should be enough. However, the office has an open floor plan and low barriers between work stations, so I can see how something could spread quickly. And I absolutely will not wear a mask. So I probably will have to comply and I am ticked off about it.

Vaccination is certainly the way to vex a nation.

And there it is - masks are required at all times unless you submit proof of vaccination. But hey, I'll be entered to win a free trip!

I know businesses around here are saying if you are vaccinated, wear your mask. If you are not vaccinated, wear your mask and get tested weekly.

I think that is the current CDC guidance (CDC=Chinese Disinformation Center). We are back to wearing masks inside at work, even for vaccinated, and testing for unvaccinated. And they did require reporting vaccination status a while ago.

This is spectacularly stupid. The push for testing last year really annoyed me. Testing itself does not stop the spread any more than a speedometer prevents accidents.

I did show HR my card. They're not keeping a record of it, at least. I am increasingly angry at everything. There is no right-wing domestic terrorism to speak of, but if you want to create some, this is how you do it.

Especially the you can have privileges if you test negative.

Continued to the mRNA injections, you can have privileges if you take a experimental treatment.

Now NYC you can have privileges if you carry your papers.

When does "right wing terrorism" become justified Patriotic resistance to an insurrection?

My workplace just extended work from home until Jan. 3rd.

Works just fine for me.

I think we passed that point on Election Day. It's actually surprising to me that January 6th happened at all because conservatives rarely go to demonstrations. We're usually at work or taking care of our families.

Same where I work, although they said through the end of the calendar year. (Jan 1 and 2 are a weekend)

This was done a few weeks ago

The more I read about it, the fishier that smells.

BTW, we now know the plot to kidnap Gov. Whitman was instigated by FBI agents who then arrested those they goaded into it.

And the hearings in Congress on it are blatant lies - we know the cop died of natural causes; his family and the medical examiner said so, but the testimony is that he was killed doe to the "insurrection".

The hearings make a kangaroo court seem honest.

It's no coincidence that a young kangaroo is called a "joey"---just like the current president.

Still not clear for me.  We've had a partial return-to-office already in other areas; my department, all we know is, it will not be before December 1.

Frankly, I'm looking forward to going back (assuming child logistics are squared away).

Pouf, the magic drag queen was LGBT

And frolicked with like-minded folks in lacy lingerie

Little Marky deSade loved that rascal pouf

And they played games with whips and chains because they liked it rough...

But not so little boys
Painted cheeks and turquoise rings
Aren't meant for little boys

One gray night it happened
Pouf was caught with pants down
And Pouf now had to play
Inside the county jail
