Homeless camp keeps youth running leagues from getting use permits at Seattle park

Cross country teams for kids have to find a new place to train - all because of a sprawling homeless camp in a popular Seattle park.

The city is denying permits for leagues to host meets at Lower Woodland, on the south end of Green Lake, and the ban will likely last the season.

Woodland Park is one of those places ideally suited for children and teens just getting into cross country racing. Ed Balet said the network of running trails drew both of his children to the sport.

One would like to think that this sort of nonsense would cause the suburban mom types to wake up, but they are so utterly braindead nothing will.

I was recently told that the Tribulation will begin in 2022.  Sounds right.

Started already. Just hasn't reached full steam.

BTW, there is a tradition that Mashiach will come when all the governments of the world are corrupt. With an Islamicist party in the Israeli ruling coalition, I'd say we're just about there.

So I've been playing around with the Unity game engine. Unreal is more powerful, but I'm doing this for fun, and my computer has 16 GB RAM, not 64

So I've been working on an exercise that starts with making a ball roll down tracks. The initial exercise is "Caution, the floor is lava". After getting it to roll down, the next lessons are about scripting. So I did theirs about having the ball grow. Then I made the ball change colors.

Then, after a fair amount of work,  I got the ball to burn when it hits the lava!
