NPR---at least our NYC affiliate---was really cooing over the 50th anniversary of "the Attica uprising," and lionizing the Nation of Islam for its radicalization of prisoners, then and now.  Whole lot of references dropped to Muhammad Ali, to "mass incarceration" and the increase in black prisoners, etc.

Sounds like there's some major roundabout "intersectionality" going on in NPR-land, in which both of-colorness and Islamity are going to become even more highly favored, if possible, than they are now.  Look to see a lot more cozying up to the Taliban, too.

I completely expect the entire elite machine to start focusing as Islam as the acceptable religion in a few more years, especially now that they don't want to make Biden look any worse than he already is.

And so it begins.  Registered Republicans in California are being told they already voted when they try to cast their vote in the recall election.  Why am I not surprised?

What does it tell you when a group of people feel they have to twist the truth and in some cases outright lie to support their position?

A. These people are power hungry.

B. These people want to do something that is not supported by the evidence.

C. These people think they know better than everyone else.

D. These people are unable to look beyond their own desires.

E. All of the above.

They are "businesslike and professional".  The White House said so.  And the President woudn't mislead us, would he?!

The current administration certainly gives a new resonance to the term "taking liberties."

Consider this - Trump is permanently banned from Twitter, but the Taliban and the Iranian mullahs are free to call for genocide against Jews and to kill gays.

Jack Dorsey runs Twitter---he can

If he wants to, ban the Taliban

Because they like to say

They'll kill Jews or gays---

But when given the chance to, he ran

There's nothing wrong with the classics: tar and feathers.

Nothing to see here, just the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Throughly Modern Milley admitting (allegedly) to treason.

I've been thinking a lot of these folks in the administration and service corps have such back-channel discussions frequently. It helps to make more sense of what is going on.

Sure, I'd be willing to warn General Li: "General Li, remember i said I'd warn you before an attack? Nuke hits in 30 seconds, just enough time to kiss your ass goodbye"

(General Li? Isn't that racist?)
