After reading about the experiments with aborted tissue, I think his first name isn't Francis, it's Frankenstein.

I never believed the mad scientist image, but then the scientists I've met are mostly physicists, chemists, etc.

All I can say is had these "scientists" lived in Nazi Germany, they'd have gleefully experimented on Jews.

I hate agreeing with you, but I am left with no other choice after reading this.

I would not have expected the types of experiments they describe, either.

Kamala Harris NASA Video Features Child Actors Who Auditioned For Gig, Parent Says

A father of a child actor who was featured in a NASA video with Vice President Kamala Harris says his son and four other actor children auditioned for their roles in the first video of the YouTube Originals space series.

Carlo Bernardino, whose 13-year-old son Trevor was featured in the video, told the Washington Examiner that “all five” of the kids in the video with Harris “are actors.”

“He’s a child actor — he’s been trying to do this type of thing for a while,” Bernardino said of his son. “And so he has a manager and an agent in LA and they send him castings.”

And the name of the production company? Sinking Ship Entertainment.

I believe this will turn out to be a titanic flop.

And the fact that a university was intentionally trying to develop those experiments and get funding for them! How many Americans would fully support this? How much evil is in the US now?

What happened to NASA working on outreach to Muslims? Isn't that still part of their core function?

I don't know.  No one in the video still I saw was wearing a hijab.

It was “helping Muslims feel good about themselves”, IIRC, and was THE core function.

Ah, the debacle in Afghanistan is doing that, so NASA no longer has to,

This much evil...I'm so glad I don't have grandchildren.  I don't know how those that do can sleep at night.  I'd be so worried for them.  You can no longer protect your own children.

Fun fact:  "The Great Depression" was called that because at the time, politicians wanted to minimize the downturn and therefore said that, "It's not a recession, it's just a little depression."  Since that time, of course, the Great Depression has loomed so large in people's minds that politicians will do backflips to avoid using That Word---thus, the depression during the Obama years was referred to, once again, as a "recession," because, human memories being short, people forget that "recession" was the scare word that the politicians of the '30s wanted desperately to avoid.

Which brings us to today, where the government is not merely destroying the economy but imposing, or seeking to impose, all manner of "mandates" on conduct and styling Americans who dare to assert their traditional freedoms as "domestic terrorists."

Accordingly, I propose that we begin referring to the current times as "The Great Repression."

I have two little granddaughters. The older one is going on 5 and just started pre-k, or reception year, at a very nice private school in England. As much as I wish they lived nearby, I feel they're safer and getting a much better education than they would in Maryland, where they have a home.

They still do in higher education, though that isn't what it used to be. Still, you don't see foreign students wasting time and their parents' money on gender studies.

True.  In the US, they are teaching their students they can choose their gender.
