Fridays are starting to become my favorite day of the workweek--not because it's before the weekend, but because so many people are working at home that I can actually get stuff done.

Good morning.  Pope Francis is Satchel Paige, or something:

“The Mystery of the Purloined Diary” is something Nancy Drew should be investigating, not the FBI.

King County set to start 'walking bus' program to escort workers through downtown

SEATTLE - King County is launching a new security program to keep county workers safe as they walk through downtown Seattle at night.

Starting Monday, the pilot program called the "walking bus" gives workers the option to meet up at the 4th avenue entrance of the King County Courthouse in the evenings.

They can walk together with a security escort to a pair of transit hubs: The King Street station and Coleman Dock.

They can't provide basic service to The People, but can provide special services to special people.

it has been standard procedure in the FBI to go to preferred news sources and leak info there. This is nothing unusual at all.

And by publishing that, the NY Times should have a summary judgement against them, AND another lawsuit for publishing the information.

Again--given what the various news agencies did against Trump via the Russia Collusion nonsense, I am totally expected the Times to align with the FBI against Veritas. The legality or illegality of the action doesn't matter anymore.

They used the bullshit pretext of investigating a stolen personal diary to seize communication devices from an opposition journalist, and then leak attorney-client privileged information to a regime-friendly media outlet. I do not recall this happening before this gang was in power. If you are aware of similar instances I’d love to hear about them.

During the Russia collusion scandal, the Steele Dossier was developed by Hillary Clinton long-time cronies and FusionGPS and with the assistance of FBI people. They shopped the story around to the media in DC, who eventually picked it up and then the FBI turned around and used the news stories as proof that the dossier was correct and claimed the entire house of cards was true.

This is SOP for the FBI.

Meaning, they will use any and every method to destroy people who will try to stand up to them. Trump, Project Veritas, Little Sisters of the Poor--it doesn't matter. Anyone and everyone is fair game, and the regime will use any method to destroy them. I wouldn't be surprised if justices in and around DC give anyone brought to trial about this a slap on the wrist at most. Should they have the book thrown at them? Absolutely. Will they? I have lost faith that they will.

And there are rumors online that despite all the regulations about prophylactics not working for COVID, members of Congress were taking ivermectin and/or HCQ for months to avoid COVID.

FTC are and FDA now say the product falsely advertises those results.

How do you falsely advertise something as simple as "positive results"?

Serbia restores warship that fired first shots of World War I

Serbia has finally recalled to service as a floating museum a warship that fired the first shots that began World War I, following years of lobbying from navy ship enthusiasts who wanted it restored.

The SMS Bodrog was one of two Austro-Hungarian heavy gunboats that sailed into the confluence of the rivers Sava and Danube around midnight on July 28, 1914. Its two canons hurled shells at Serbian positions in Belgrade, marking the start of the four-year war in which around 20 million people died.

NSBA coordinated with White House, DOJ before sending notorious 'domestic terrorists' letter: emails

Newly released internal emails reveal that the National School Boards Association coordinated with the White House and the Department of Justice before sending President Biden the notorious letter that compared concerned parents to domestic terrorists. Emails provided to Fox News show that NSBA had coordinated with the White House for weeks beforehand.

Viola Garcia, the NSBA president whom the Department of Education later named to a federal board, sent a memo to NSBA members on Oct. 11 (but dated Oct. 12), providing a timeline of the NSBA's interaction with the White House ahead of the letter to Biden, which the NSBA sent on Sept. 29.

Five days later, on Oct. 4, the DOJ issued a memo directing law enforcement to investigate threats to school boards. On Oct. 22, the NSBA issued an apology for the letter.

And how many media outlets that went to bat for the administration will mention *this* side of the story? I'm guessing none.
