Working day.

Major upgrade to server hardware and storage complete....

Major upgrade to database configuration complete, eCAD and mCAD parts databases are now linked with each other and a PLM, Product Lifecycle Management tool.

Migrating data in progress....

Not just me, a fairly large team. IT, hardware, SMEs for each tool, and support from the vendors.

We spent the last two weeks testing everything in a dev environment.

Work out the bugs, etc.... anything went sideways we had time to diagnose, fix, and test again.

So far the updates to live have gone well.
