Good morning, on this first anniversary of the most absolutely terrible devastating tragedy that ever happened, a day of infamy that is literally 1 million times worse than Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined!!!!

Quote of the day (used by an Instapundit poster to explain why today's Democrats are more like fascists than communists):

"Fascism is the variant of socialism that is totalitarian but still allows nominal private ownership of the means of production. "

*sigh*

No wonder arguing is futile.

Stunning and brave!

Kamala Harris kneels before no man.

Okay, let me rephrase that.

Thoughts on Jan. 6.

The "Insurrection".

What happened an unruly crowd obtained access to the capital building. A protestor was killed by a cop, and a cop died from a heart attack. No institution of the country was threatened. The Nation and the Government were not in danger of falling.

Compare that to the insurrection of Federal Government against The Nation.

I can match most of the grievances in the Declaration of to current actions by the Federal Government.

Just one example.

The Constitution provides protections against seizure of property, yet the IRS can seize property without proof merely the accusation of tax violations. DEA and other agencies can seize property, merely on the pretense that they think it is drug related. In both cases there is a presumption of guilt, and the individual must prove the innocence of their property.

So I ask you.

Which is the greater violation?

I don't know whether Kamala Harris's or Joe Biden's address was more revolting.

I took pains to avoid both.

Looking at the Declaration, we are clearly in a period where all the same grievances apply. And yet there is a vast majority of people who haven't read the Declaration for themselves or realize this.

It's downright depressing. And the bitter cold temperatures aren't helping my mood. Otherwise, morning, campers.

People have lost a grasp of our structure our fundamental civics. The educational industrial complex intentionally fails to teach this subject.

First we are Constitutional Representative Republic, not a democracy.

The Declaration of Independence forms the nation. The Constitution forms the Government to serve The Nation. The Declaration gives The People the right, the DUTY to reform the government when it becomes destructive.

The place of the Federal Government in our structure is the tertiary authority. The People are sovereign, The People cede limited power to The States. In turn The States cede even more limited power to the Federal Government.

10 Fun Ways To Celebrate January 6 This Year

3) Perform a historical reenactment of the violent, bloody battle by wandering slowly through your city hall, taking photos:  The violent surge on our nation’s Capitol can easily be recreated by ages 3 and up. For added flair, open all gates and move barriers to the side in remembrance of the police officers who did exactly that.

7) Gather the family around the fire to relisten to Trump's speech ordering you to loot, kill, and destroy: Okay, so he explicitly said to be peaceful, but we know what he really meant.

As I mentioned to a colleague last year just after Inauguration Day, when he was gushing about his great relief that everything was finally "back to normal" (now that Literally Hitler was banished):  "Nothing says 'return to normal' quite like a presidential inauguration.  [He nods approvingly]  ... held behind razor wire and 25,000 troops... whose loyalty is immediately, publicly questioned by the incoming regime."

So did Trump come down the chimney and bring you all presents?  Isn't that what happens on 1-6?

So, given all the covid closures, where people aren't there (wherever "there" is) in person, do we now have virtual signaling?

Heh. I rather like the idea of a January 6 Trump holiday.
