Not the second in command? That role has a very short life expectancy.

Well, allegedly, the top guy.   But this being the Biden gang, I'll wait and see before popping the champagne cork.  Remember those dastardly ISIS Kabul airport-perimeter bombers that Joe swiftly brought to justice via dronestrike?  The ones who turned out to be an aid worker, and his kids?

Good morning. Snowmageddon continues in Illinois, although we've had about 10 inches so far. That doesn't compare to the three feet of snow we had in the 1970's.

Well, soon they'll require all heat to be electric and solar powered, and in the winter, when there isn't as much sunlight and the solar panels are covered with snow (as the ones around here are now), everyone will freeze to death, as the Earth-firsters want.

They will be shocked! SHOCKED when they can't get work when their EV didn't charge.

When there are a large number of EVs trapped on the road during a storm - and they find that the gasoline vehicles can be moved by bringing a gallon of gas to each one, but the EVs need to be towed because there are no extension cords long enough to charge them, I wonder if people will realize the dumb idea of electric cars.

A distant family member has an electric car and loves to share how, on vacations, they love pausing to let the car charge while they eat lunch at some location on their way. I just quietly shake my head and point out they would get their sooner if they didn't have to stop and charge the car, but the passage into their ears is blocked by Electric Hearing.℠

Not just Ukraine

Iran, Russia aid Venezuela in moving troops to Colombian border

Venezuela is moving troops to the border with Colombia with technical assistance from Russia and Iran, Colombia's defense minister Diego Molano said on Thursday, calling the possible deployment "foreign interference."

Over there, over there
Send the word over there
That the Yanks are leaving
The Yanks are leaving
Evil's run-running
Everywhere
So prepare, say a prayer
Tell the world, tell the world to beware
[needs a couple more lines]

Remembered an ad you youtube for a show that looked interesting - Avenue 5, about an interplanetary cruise ship that has an accident and will take 3 years instead of a few weeks to return. Hugh Laurie as the capatain. FOund it on Amazon, but read the reviews. Overt Trump bashing. F-k it,. I don't want politics in an escapist science fiction comedy! Even if it said Obama bashing it would turn me off.

For some reason, no posting box appears in the Frontier.  No "Refresh" box, either.

I was going to ask for some prayers for my girlfriend, who is having a breast biopsy tomorrow morning.  I will be there for entourage/moral support.  She beat the big C some 16 years ago, but some specks showed up on her last exam which require closer examination.

So, Little OR got his first Covid shot today; this, after a lot of agonizing over it on my part, but his mom and I eventually agreed the benefits outweighed the risks.

HUGE drama on his part about getting the shot. He was better about getting shots three years ago than he is now.  I wonder if it's because he's now on "heightened alert" about all things medical, after two years of Covid terrorism.

Nope.  No posting box in the Frontier---not the current thread, not the old ones---either in Safari or Chrome.
