Yes, I was thinking about that.

Alternatively, if you have a problem with a giant ant infestation, it could be "up and at THEM!".

Incredibly dumb idea of the day (but it's early yet).

Airliner crashes with 132 people aboard in China's southern province

BEIJING (AP) — A China Eastern Boeing 737-800 with 132 people on board crashed in the southern province of Guangxi on Monday, officials said.

The Civil Aviation Administration of China said in a statement the crash occurred near the city of Wuzhou in Teng county. The flight was traveling from Kunming in the western province of Yunnan to the industrial center of Guangzhou along the east coast, it added.

There's a vintage fruit crate label showing a pugnacious-looking rabbit wearing boxing gloves and taking a boxing stance, with the slogan, "Up 'n' Atom!"

I think my sister has a framed copy.

that is trippy. Can’t say I quite see the connection between the slogan, the product, and the visual image.

In the '50s, links to the atomic progress were all over the place.

Thanks for posting it; I'm on the phone and couldn't get the link to copy.

Well, it is a box of carrots. Apparently the rabbit wants to box for it.

Product and image, easy; "rabbit" + "carrots."  The pugnacity is probably neo-/derivative Bugs Bunny; the original phrase was then a common one, associated with pugnacity; and, as JCM pointed out, empty but contempo-sounding wordplay over "atomic" stuff was popular in the postwar years.

The whole chain is kind of like an advertising version of one of those cavalcade pictures showing the Evolution of Man from lungfish to homo sapiens.

My dad used to have posters, provided for him by the manufacturers, promising nuclear powered outboard motors were just over the horizon.  I wish I knew what became of them - they disappeared after the store was closed down.

Can't find any civilian info, so it probably never got beyond marketing, but there was a large sort of outboard pod proposed for the Navy
And there was the Ford Nucleon concept car - and it was not the only nuclear car suggested

Well, yes, I'm... fairly aware of that  I was referring to any link between "atom" and "rabbits/boxing/carrots".  The "Atom" is the part that just seems desultory, in the whole thing.
