Nope. No collusion here. Uh uh. Nothing going on.

I know there are religions that worship various animals, but I've never heard of a tiger-centered religion.  Personally, I think this would be a great idea, since you'd already have at least one piece of sacred music ready-made, by none other than George Frideric Handel:  "And with His stripes, we are healed."

Leftist "journalist" Simon Gwynn tweets out message essentially goading fellow leftists to murder Justices Alito and Thomas

As has been noted; Weimar Germany began its slide toward Nazi Germany when the Left normalized normalized political violence and assassination in that country.

The Iran nuke clock has run out.

I've never believed that Iran hasn't been nuclear for at least eight or ten years.  They've been "on the verge of" creating nuclear weapons for at least that long.

The US created nuclear weapons from scratch in something like three years back in WWII; the technology has been readily available, whether over- or under- the counter, for decades---and it is ridiculous to believe that the Iranians could not have acquired/did not acquire nuclear weapons (had they wanted to) under the table from Pakistan, or North Korea, or China, or even from some rogue scientists who wanted to make a few bucks in the wake of the breakup of the Soviet Union.

The entire "we must prevent Iran from getting nukes" routine has, in my wholly unsupported opinion, been nothing more than theatre for years.  I would, indeed, not be surprised to learn that the Iranians have already smuggled nukes into the US which are scatter-sited, and that the pallets of cash which the Obama administration sent them was merely a blackmail payment to get them to stall setting them off.

Yes, I think we've discussed this before.  I respectfully disagree with you, for the simple reason that, had the mullahs had nukes at their disposal for all these years, they'd have openly demonstrated this by now, at the very least in order to gain leverage; if not to outright attack Israel and/or the US.

I'd prefer that you be correct, for a number of reasons---but I also submit that the mullahs, not being fools and having a healthy instinct for self-preservation, may well have decided that for at least the immediate term it is more advantageous to engage in nuclear blackmail for gain than it is to engage in an exchange of weaponry.

Weird coincidence department:

Took my wife's car to fill it with gas (still < $5!) and was changing radio stations, to hear

this song

TWICE

Given the pictures at the top of the thread, a strange coincidence

Thanks for the earworm…

Then again, it’s been 80s earworm day. First, “Highway to the Danger Zone” (no prizes for guessing what inspired that); then, a bit more obscure to gringo audiences, “Persiana Americana” by Soda y Stereo.
