I note PJM now requires you to be a VIP member to comment and see the comments.

So in honor of Pride Month, is today going to be renamed Fag Day?

It would not surprise me in the least if someone had gotten a group of people to focus on belittling any posters at PJM and tearing them down. That article I posted at #1 noted the number of groups that sprang to existence simply because Trump became president.

In some ways that article is very sad to read, because many of the people discussed in that article are very unhappy. But I can't help but notice that these people have created this situation. They have to live with it just like we do.

Good! What are you noticing out in the neighborhoods?

We'd looked at several areas. The first was a complete turn-off - 80s white flight homes had become Mexican rental estates.

The second area is interesting, though a little too 2000s strip mall. And not many houses there in my price range, which is a shame because it would be very convenient for various aspects of our lives.

The third, which was the focus of today's journey, is a cute town with an old center with a courthouse and lovely shops and restaurants. Daughter loved it and I have friends who live there.  Some interesting houses and the prices are not bad and the neighborhoods appear (with one exception) to be good. And things are moving the right direction - lots of new construction.

That sounds very positive.

Always love Mildred Bailey.  Here's one of hers which is not so well known:

Beautiful voice, but I gather she was an absolute pain in the ass to work with.
