They were also vaporizing on about "What will this activist court attack next?", apparently either unaware---or seeking to confuse and fire up the rubes---that the Court does not "seek out" issues; rather, they come to the Court because a dispute/controversy exists at the most "democratic," grass-roots level, which the Court is ultimately tasked with resolving.

This fundamental mischaracterization of the Court and its role is even more toxic than the current misrepresentations by the Left of the nature of the abortion decision.

At least 6 dead, 24 injured after shooting at Highland Park, Illinois, Fourth of July parade

A rooftop shooter killed at least six people and wounded 24 more at a July Fourth parade in an affluent Chicago suburb on Monday, authorities said.

A rifle has been found and police are searching for a gunman who opened fire at about 10:14 a.m. CDT, Highland Park police Commander Chris O’Neill told reporters.

I should hold comment until we know more.... but one the hell.

Target was a 4th of July Parade, an AMERICAN celebration, so my mind goes immediately to some indoctrinated with anti-Americanism.

Also the shooting was at an area with a large Jewish community.

Police said that it was still an active incident, and were looking for the shooter. They described him as a white male around 20 years old, with long black hair and a small build, wearing a blue t-shirt.

Either a Democrat or white supremacist.

Somali-"American" Ilhan Omar booed by Somalis at music festival

According to Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Michael Rubin, Somalis are “frustrated … that Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, the first Somali-American and one of the first two Muslim women elected to Congress, had not used her seat to advance U.S.-Somali ties.”

“Instead, Omar has made the Palestinian issue a cornerstone of her congressional activism, apparently at the urging both of Basim Sabri — her second largest donor and a Palestinian-American real estate tycoon from Minneapolis who donated maximum amounts to Omar’s congressional campaign — as well as his daughter Karmel, a fundraiser for causes in the Gaza Strip,” added Rubin. “No group or charity can operate in Gaza, however, without cooperating with Hamas, which has ruled the Palestinian territory with an iron fist since 2006.”

Rubin notes that Sabri is a “polarizing figure” and a “convicted felon” whom Somalis see as a “slum lord” who “exploits the Somali community.”
