It's been a day of minor annoyances. Hopefully things will go better.

The day is young. They have time to grow into major annoyances.

Oh hooray BIKE LANES

We are no longer a serious country.  I'm not saying that's irreversible, just that it's the present state of affairs.

You know, that could explain some things. Happy birthday, Lucius!

And again, it's not so much what the leftist media report, as what they fail to report.

This goes hand in hand with gato's postulate today. Can reporters report on things they don't understand? No, not without spending a lot of time learning, and that isn't allowed or wanted.

I didn't actually, formally wish Lucius a Happy Birthday.   Allow me to rectify that---happy birthday, Lucius!  And joy in your new home.

Which is how we get so much of the appeal to authority fallacy, the reported doesn't know, so finds an authority that will confirm the reporters bias. The reporter is intellectually lazy, and will not look into the other side.

It's also the birthday of Caesar Augustus, his predecessor as emperor, and Romy Schneider. But they're dead and not much fun at parties.

Death is no excuse not to be at parties. My goodness, look at the ghosts of Hogwarts. They have death-day parties and don't let death get them down!

Dinner is surf and turf tonight. Swordfish steak for me, ribeye steak for the little guy. I have gotten him to reluctantly agree he’ll try some of the swordfish.

I’m grilling up on the rooftop, which does not have quite enough light, so I’m wearing my ShoreFyre for headlight, which kind of looks like a tactical tefillin…

The President of the United States is senile and a creep. This is beyond disturbing.

Well, G-d is compared with light....

There used to be a t-shirt that said

"And G-d said

And there was light"

(For the non-scientists, those are Maxwell's Equations, which describe electromagnetic radiation, of which light is a small part)

Even in Weimar Germany, Hindenburg was not publicly salivating over little girls. What the hell is wrong with this country?

Cabaret was about Weimar Germany. Today, it would be Kidbaret - where the girls are beautiful, the boys are beautiful; even the orchestra is beautiful. All genders are beautiful!

And they all hate the Jews!
