China's Communist party says nearly 5 million members probed for graft

Since graft is the sine quo on of the ChiCom system this is a purge. A bunch of party members are questioning the party line, ad Xie is cracking the whip.

Amazon faces off with union in fight for a second warehouse

I'm agnostic on the unionization for the most part, what I know of work at the Fulfillment Centers (FC), it's a good job, lots of opportunity for growth, good benefits etc... Yeah, it's demanding work. So most of the complaints I question. Have you ever spent a summer roofing? In fact Amazon will train FC workers how to code and they can move into a tech role.

Anyway this paragraph caught my eye.

“There are also a lot of odds against us, but I think there’s definitely a huge possibility we might win,” said Sarah Chaudhry, an 18-year old who’s been organizing workers since joining the company two months ago. “I can’t jinx it.”

2 whole months and a union organizer? Sounds like an agitator to me.

There is a difference?

Seems to me colleges are just factories for agitators, activists, and revolutioaries.

I would agree with you at least 95% of the time. There are a few who sneak through who do not want to agitate, activate, or revolutionize anything, but they are becoming even more rare of a species.

It would be dependent on what they are studying.

It's harder to be those things in the hard sciences. They are trying....

All I will say is it would be very nice if there was some participation when I can actually read and post.
