Instapundit: GARBAGE PLATFORMS FEATURING GARBAGE PEOPLE: Meta/Facebook security guards accessed user accounts and took bribes. “As part of the alleged abuse of the system, Meta says that in some cases workers accepted thousands of dollars in bribes from outside hackers to access user accounts, the people and documents say.”

Yet another reason for me to stay off of FB.

One more from Instapundit: FLASHBACK: Founder of Climate Group Vandalizing Famous Paintings Said Holocaust was ‘Normal Event’.

These people have lost any sense of humanity.

I only signed up when I moved. My DC-area friends insisted that I get onto FB to keep in contact.

Of course, I only post mostly jokes and memes anyway. My personal business doesn't belong on social media.

I'm also on FB community standards probation yet again anyway.

They're actively anti-human.  Their actions are responsible for the death and suffering of millions, including all of those in Africa who died because NGOs have forbidden them for using chemicals to kill disease-carrying insects or who suffer starvation, blindness, and other infirmities due to the ban on GMO crops. Elderly people die in heat waves every summer across Europe, when the temperatures rise in an unexpected manner (every year) and they can afford or aren't allowed to use AC; and then others freeze in the winter when they are unable to heat their homes. Further examples abound.

And these aren't bugs, they're features. Environmentalists believe that the world population is much too high and needs to be reduced.  Of course, they never count themselves among the surplus population.

No, any "corrective action" must always be applied to others, never themselves. Thus do they reveal their elite status to themselves, that they are allowed to vandalized for the good of "all."

On the whole, I’d rather be here than in Buffalo.

We're just outside of that predicted snowstorm area here. We've had flurries on and off every day for almost a week, but no accumulation at all.

There was never any chance at all that Thanos would snap himself away. He already had his post-snap retirement planet set up and everything.

I'm married; I don't chase tail anymore. Even if they are foxes.

/ I had to go back and make sure I hadn't mistyped "flurries"!

Good policy, since I am told that many of the furries turn out to be coyote-ugly.

They claim to be wolves, but they're just dogs.

And even if you can't see their faces, you're turned off by their catty remarks.

Elon has a reason to be proud today. He's had some missteps with Twitter, but this is absolutely worth the cost of those missteps. Previous management should be paying attention, but I'm sure they aren't.

Wearing a mask can impact ability to recognize others, study says.

Like, duh, right?  But it's not what you think.  The claim is, that you wearing a mask impacts (negatively) your ability to recognize others.

If you wear it over your eyes, I suppose.

In fairness, we don’t know what that *other* thing is, that the photographer is shooting.  It could be, for instance, a giraffe in spats, tap-dancing to “Embraceable You”.

Yes, I saw that earlier. The number of conspiracy theories that are turning out to be false is starting to become a vanishingly small number.

"What do I say to my crazy uncle who's always spouting conspiracy theories?"

"How about, 'I'm sorry. You were right.' "

My lifelong dentist retired just before covid.  I have never seen my new dentist's face.  I told her if she ever sees me in the grocery store to say hi because I won't recognize her.  I have no idea of what she looks like.  I didn't want her to think I was a snob.
