No, it seems to be something about iPad, specifically, and posting at The Bleat, specifically.  No problems posting via my laptop at The Bleat; no problems posting at other Disqus platforms via my iPad.  Other Bleatniks have apparently reported the same thing.

Ah. are you posting via an app that goes just to the Bleat, or is this via a web browser that runs on the iPad, either Chrome or Safari?

Well, I'm guessing that the Lileks page isn't coded with modern UI in mind. We saw that at CorrespondenceCommittee--the old format doesn't work well with newer browsers. That's my initial guess, at least.
