Some good news: Federal Judges Are Refusing to Hire Stanford Law Grads as Clerks

Anyone who doesn't uphold the First Amendment should have similar experiences of not being able to find jobs.

‘No Labels’ Group Scares the Daylights Out of Democrats

What say folks here? Is No Labels a big enough group to generate that much concern for Democrats? I haven't seen anything about them except in online articles. I've never seen them in my state, for example.

IIRC, "No Labels" is a Bloomberg front group that first surfaced some 10-15 years ago.  And, when they did, they were immediately embroiled in a copyright-infringement issue, because their sort-of-logo, which included silhouettes of a giraffe and a whale and other animals, as well as images resembling the stylized donkey and elephant representing the major parties, was stolen without permission, credit, or payment from some illustrator's earlier image.

That wouldn't surprise me. Lots of things that are supposedly grassroots have been proven to be the worst sorts of astroturf.

I've always maintained the SCOTUS has a lack of diversity.

They all are Harvard and Yale graduates.

Well, two of them said that.   The headline is a wee bit overstated.

Remember all those sci-fi movies from the 50s, in which, faced with some unexplained phenomenon, the protagonists would contact a Professor At The University, and there was this background cultural understanding that such a person would be very, very smart and capable?

Yeah. Well.
