The author of the Morning Briefing at PJ Media shared this quote today, and the suggestion would have been a master move:

When they started attacking Santos over is resume lies he missed an opportunity to do some master trolling.  He should have offered to resign as soon as Biden resigned for his lies… then listed all of Biden’s lies going back to Biden’s plagiarism.  He should’ve sold his “resume enhancements” as a plan to make Democrats and their Catamites in the media deal with their liar.

If only. Beautiful missed opportunity.

This writer speaks quite disparagingly about the conservative budget proposal presented by the Republican Study Committee, but I'm trying to figure out why he writes as if the government is the only entity that can affect the economy simply by tightening its belt. Has he not seen what the entire country is doing in the time of Biden? Yes, as the largest employer, any reduction in spending is going to effect GDP, but I would think the reduction of taxes also included in the proposal (and negotiable, of course) could be set up to offset that to some extend. I feel like the writer believes if the proposal is enacted that it would be implemented in one year, despite writing that it would take ten years. Very little useful information in this article, I fear.

Whaaaaaa??? PBS NewsHour says ‘anti-trans laws’ jeopardize indigenous people’s religious expression

I'm sorry, but I need confirmation that certain Native American tribes have always accepted two-spirit individuals. That sounds like historical revisionism to me.

And in the AI craze, add an AI Jesus. The article speaks more about the writer's background than the AI itself, but it does include enough information to say that it pretty definitely NOT the Jesus of the Bible.

The act of taking $16 trillion out of the economy in just a decade would destroy the nation’s finances, and force tens of millions of people into poverty. It will never pass muster even in the House with the Republican majority.

Total horseshit and displays an abject failure to understand basic economics.

Cutting the Federal Budget by $16T would boost the economy. Federal spending is a drain and produces nothing for the economy. Spending for enumerated and necessary functions is paying for basic service.

I agree, but going back to Trump's energy policies and releasing oil drilling and exploration as it was will probably do a lot more in the short term. Then the described budget would at least start the process to get us on the road to fiscal responsibility, although it almost certainly doesn't do enough.

A $1.6T a year is a start... but won't last long.

Serious budget process overhaul followed by real reduction in the Federal Government.

First zero based budgeting.

Then no more omnibus or continuing resolutions.

Each Cabinet level department has their own budget.

Make these changes stick with some legal mechanism..

Then if the (R)s want to show they are for real and not the palooka party, start cutting unconstitutional depts and agency.

Anything else is just lipstick on a pig.

Something weird is happening.  I click on Weaselzippers in Chrome, and the front page loads; click on the thread comments, and a "This Website is Suspended" sign comes up.  In Safari, the "Suspended" message appears even before the front page loads.

I'm on Chrome and I don't even get the front page.  It's going straight to the "suspended" page.  I wonder what's up?

There is at least one company, CloudFlare, that is now being used by ISPs to filter content to verify whether you are going to a "safe" site. I'm seeing the same thing here, so it may actually be an issue with the website itself as opposed to CloudFlare filtering.

Does the AI have as the Trinity Johnny von Neumann, Marvin Minsky, and not sure who the third is.

(von Neumann designed the architecture of the most common type of computer; Marvin Minsky was for years head of the MIT AI lab)
